i am back to becoming chairperson of the bored again. this is boredom's doldrums once again!
earlier i had film showing with my bshm e1-1 class as a culminating activity, and it was our last meeting. 'seabiscuit', my favorite horse, still doesn't seize to amaze me and his story is just as inspiring and touching as when i first watched it two years ago.
it's been almost two weeks since i signed in for google wave full invite, but i haven't received any. i have been patiently waiting and i have no right to lose it. this time i am hoping i receive one from @owrange, or from @clatko.
these are exactly what i am looking for in a guy. and i especially like the third and the fourth one. :)
just please tell me who you are for crying out loud and be a man!
the past few days i was having second thoughts as to what movie me and my class will be watching for our class culmination. i had options, but i chose 'seabuiscuit' and im glad i did.
we had our film showing at nine and ended ten minutes ago. my students were very attentive and it made me feel good. every time they cheered and clapped on seabuiscuit's wins, and frown on his loses, i can see how engrossed they were with the story. i just hope seabuiscuit inspired them to pursue their purpose and their dreams even if they're screwed up with life. Nobody can throw a life aways just because he or she is banged up a little bit.
